Busy weekend!

This has been my busiest weekend yet! 5 amazing cakes!!! Too bad I can't find the charger for my digital camera :( All I have is my camera phone but you get the idea.

First up....Gucci purse ! This was a somewhat late order for a birthday but I was only too happy to help :) I added so much gold luster dust it would sparkle in the dark.

Oooooooooooooohhhhh who lives in a pineapple under the sea? SPONGEBOB SQUARE PANTS!

This cake was so much fun especially since my son and I were watching episodes all day to inspire me :) My favorite is definitely the pineapple!

Classy Tiffany box cake. Too bad my camera phone didn't pick up the shine the cake had going on :( Nonetheless it was a pretty cake if I do say so myself!

This grooms cake was for the same wedding shower as the Tiffany's cake. I thought it was too funny! All the men in my family were laughing when they saw it and nodding in approval. Here is another view of her ripping him away from his couch while game is on the flat screen lol!

I thought that this cake was so cute and classy and perfect for a baby shower!

This cake was not from this weekend but I loved it so much I thought I'd add it on to the tail end of this post. This was for my beautiful niece's 15th Birthday she loves chocolate and the color green! 

Ok last one I promise! I made this one just for fun with a new frosting recipe! It was delicious!

Huge update!

I have been so busy with cakes I truly am blessed! Thanks to all my clients and friends and family who are keeping me busy.

When my sister asked me to make this laptop cake I was like no way man. I can’t do that. But after researching the construction online I was feeling confident. I didn’t hit any bumps and it was quite a success at her office.

 

My friend Jen told me she was getting married and I immediately offered to make her cake. She had found pictures of these cute wooden star wars dolls online and asked if I could make them as a cake topper. I think it came out sooooo cute!

 

My best friend in the whole world was having a house warming after moving out into his first place. He mentioned the idea of having a moving box for the cake and I loved it! Everyone at the party was so surprised when he cut it, they thought it was a real box!

This was for a client who was having a fabulous party at a beautiful club on Melrose in Hollywood! She ordered this small purse and then 60 cupcakes on the cupcake tower. But I didn’t get a picture with the cupcakes :(

 

This was for another Best Friend of mine’s 25th Birthday! She loves all things 80’s and has always asked for a cake of a mixed tape.

 

This has got to be my favorite one so far! For my friend’s daughter Sophie. I’m so glad she loved it!

I fell in love with this cake. He was so cute! And he was a lot less complicated that I originally thought he’d be. This one was for a client’s son who had gotten a Super Mario Bros. cake for her son before. And her other son wanted Bullet Bill! She told me they both loved them! I love hearing back from my clients!!!

I loved this one too!!! I love the pink and white. This cake totally inspired me to break out my rollerskates from the back of the closet lol!

My first train cake! I think I did pretty good. The birthday boys mom loved it! I hope he did too!

 

This cake turned out great but I had a hard time with the filling :(  So glad it turned out looking great.

Mod mom!

My bff's sister in law requested this one! She sent me a link for the invitations and the decorations of the baby shower, I though it was adorable! I cut the mom out of fondant free hand with an Xacto blade! The mini cake was red velvet with cream cheese frosting. And the cupcakes were red velvet with cc frosting and vanilla cupcakes with vanilla butter cream.

Wii would like to play...

My nephew Dylan is an avid Wii player. He turned 7 on the 31stso I wanted to make him something special that would blow him away! I got the idea for the mii cupcake from

Dum dum da dum.....

Dum dum da dummmmmm! I love weddings but I love wedding cakes even more! The first cake was for a very special client Angela. This was for her bridal shower and she loved it! Congratulations to you both! I wish you all the very best!

Now, this cake is my favorite cake to date! It was for my cousin's wedding shower. I really hoped they liked it! I put a lot of thought into this one.
